The Chevy Canam is an insane car. It was built in 1973 for racing consisting of a very light Vauxhall Firenza body and the Z28 engine used in racing in America, but better known for their use in Camaros. The high performance engine and light body gave it superior performance figures, awesome even by todays standards:

Only 100 CanAms were built to homologate them, and this makes them extremely rare today. Even fakes are getting a decent price these days. What I wouldnt give for one of these. It was not the best looking cat ever, but who cares?!

My uncle drove one of these in the seventies. When I am ranting about how I wish I could get one, he tells me he can't believe I would want it, the build quality was so bad it rattled everywhere and he swapped it for an Escort Perana. Here are some adds from the era:
