Steering Wheel

Post by Byte76 » Mon 22 Oct 2012, 09:40

Hi All, I'm looking for a sporty but classic style steering wheel for my Ford F100 for around R1000 - 1500

I like the wooden, mustang style steering wheels so I'm looking for something along those lines.

Anyone have a nice steering wheel to sell? (Pictures please)

Phone Brandon at Stateside should get a new Grant Wheel in that price range?

Thanks Ou Toppie but it's not really what I'm looking.

I did get the prices from Stateside but it would cost me just short of R3000 shipped which is a little more than I'm prepared to pay at this stage.

Here's a picture from Stateside of more or less what I would like to get.

Hi,

No problem. I imported one from GT Ford Performance in Auz.

It landed, including the boss for my XY Ranchero, for about R3500-00 (see picture)

Cheers

I made my own for my '41. Used a centre that fitted the column, and an old Jag rim. Couple of bits of 5mm stainless rod, some epoxy filler and a coat of paint.......

Won't get those for R1500 either Seth...... ;)

Best advice would be to keep watching the classifieds, and try out some of the British/European classics guys.

Or build one: It isn't that hard. Just be prepared to work for R20/hour.....
