I just may follow the 'drop in a V8' route in the end, and I prefer a manual, it's just so much more fun
Money's just the current drawback, what does a new/secondhand V8 block cost these days?

Now you're welcome to call me a Dude, many do, but just so you know, I'm really a Dudette ;)

Thanks for welcoming me into your great Clan, oh brothers of the Elkian Brotherhood!

Would rather have bought Dr G's old Elcamino, this one for a stock motor and drivetrain is in my opinion a quite expensive.

That is the problem with customising :!: You will never get your money back. Keep vehicle in original condition and you make more!!

I'm in Middelburg, Mp; Thing is, once I've customised mine, he'll hopefully stay mine 'till the day I die ;)
Could you give me an approx. price for an engine & gearbox? Might help with the search a bit. Or some contact details even..
Call me Karien :)
For now it'll be a step-by-step process, save up some cash, spend it on the next step, repeat repeat repeat!
