Bf Goodridge Tyres

Post by Mullet-Man » Mon 23 Nov 2009, 18:06

Guys I'm after a set of tyres and still mags for my Elky.

I'm looking for tyres with white writing on so Bf's or something similar.
wides and narrows
if anyone has a set thats almost new, please let me know.

As far as the mags go, cant seem to make up my Blerrie mind!!
it also seems like the Americno's have all the nice ones. I think I'll wait untill they come to me instead of me chasing ;)

Ps: thanks to everyone who's helped out so far, this forum ROCKS!!!

Ciao

Hey Mullet

You can buy BF's brand new from certain tire places in SA, such as Tiger wheel and Tire

215 60 15's and 235 60 15's - enquire from the v8 shoppes re importing em as they might be a lot cheaper than tiger etc.. they almost always have to order em for you.
I currently use a real cheapy , a hercules 295/50/15 for my 454 elky , they were a grand a tyre , nowhere near as good as BF's traction wise , but I do a lot of tyre smoking

Thanks Drgfinger! Awesome pic!!!!!!

Thats exactly what I wanna do now. When you dont know things you end up running around like a mad man!! apparently the local Bf range only come in 235 smallest!

The sizes you talk about are exactly the sizes I wanna run. only thing is I'm not sure what size rims (width) to have in the front and the back? surely those two different sizes cant go on the same width rim??
Do I look for whats called: wides and narrows then?

also do you have a name of a v8 company that could import these tyres for me?

Really appreciate the help. Shot! :D

You can run the same rims for both , tho for the tyres I run , ie the 295's , you need wider.
Try Motown 021 9493793
