Re: PERSONALISED PLATES
Your name on a plate is also not a good idea sometimes.........mate of mine put his name on a personalised plate. Problem was he liked the ladies............. a lot & always had to park his car out of sight instead of using the parking lots in front of the restaurants or clubs he frequented. Otherwise the next day his phone would not stop ringing with all his lady friends who had noticed or been told that his plates were spotted out & about but not with the caller.............BUSTED

Re: PERSONALISED PLATES
the worst part is Alvin when there is some boks driving around with "sexy5 - WP" or something to the sort.
that means there are at least another 4 driving around, as "sexy - WP" was probably already taken!!!

Nothing worse than a personalised number plate on a Corsa Lite, or other small car.
On the flip side I really apreciate people with classic/vintage cars and personlised plates, specially when they put the year in, makes my life putting descriptions in on the site so much easier.

How about SXLDV8?
Here in the USA; quite a few plates are illegal due to sexual and/or racial slurs. In India; a woman had 'NAZI' something or another on her car, she got rid of that tag for obvious reasons----------never mind that her first name was indeed 'Nazi'.
One tag here in Az surprised me very much; it read SPI C, it was supposed to mean 'spicy' but it is a severe ethnic slur against Hispanics (folks of partial Aztec, Mayan Indian heritage with last names like Rodriguez, Lopez, etc.)----------and, the woman owning the car looked like a stereotypical Mexican American.
