Re: Pantera
I've seen much worse ones than this but there was a fair bit of rust and accident damage.
Both A & B pillars and inner and outer sills below those area's, rear left quarter panel adjacent to the fuel tank, rear panel, bulkhead behind seats and upper seat belt support cross-strut, front cross-member radiator support and lower front valence, front bonnet hinge panel, front of bonnet, right front wheel arch. Lots of small repairs and hole filling and tidying jobs. took me nine months working in my spare time to complete and all repair panels were made by myself except for the lower front valence which was one panel that was available.

Re: Pantera
I think what you do is art. I wouldn't know where to start much less how to rectify all of that! Surprising it needed so much work for a cali car.paulusvrotius1 wrote: ↑Fri 04 Jan 2019, 15:02I've seen much worse ones than this but there was a fair bit of rust and accident damage.

Re: Pantera
I think it depends where in California the cars come from, if from the coast, like anywhere you will get rust.
This car is build #1843 and I made a mistake in my earlier post, it is a 1972 model. It was owned from new by Vanilla Fudge drummer Carmine Appice, who also played with many famous people like Rod Stewart, Led Zeppelin, Ossey Osbourne to name a few and it even appeared on stage at one of his concerts. Many of them have been in the car so it has a good history. There is info on the web about him and a letter of authenticity signed by Carmine.

Strangely enough, I spotted 1 of these this morning. RED and running on Stellenbosch plates.
