New Project 911
So I haven’t finished my truck yet, and vowed not to do another project and here I am. Bought a very special car. She is a 1968 Porsche 911 SWB S now if she was an original matching numbers car she would fetch 3 Bar. But she has been raped, beaten molested and bastardized. I’ve always wanted a 1st gen 911 but this will take plenty work and Amo. The photos make her look a lot better than in the flesh....
May the games begin!

Re: New Project 911
Looks like a good base for a project, what are the plans? RSR replica?
Looks like a 1968 converted to latter body style.

Re: New Project 911
Came with a 69 2.0 Engine but not in car.
I want to get her Running and driving, fit
Engine breaks etc. then body wise just Outlaw her for now. But have some fun. Black bonnet, black front bumpers etc, polish the rest of car.
Then going to source the correct front fenders, lights bumpers etc. 1st gen parts are scary expensive. Once I ha e everything, bare metal respray and turn her back

Awesome find there,
And you probabaly right, just get in and drive the car, project cars soemtimes just take forever to get done.
Personally I would also try to get things period correct , especially on this car, perhaps look at what Singer does to their 911s.

Nice car Len.
Did the early cars also come with the wide turbo style arches or have they been added?

Re: New Project 911
No, they were added in the Post date/ Outlaw attempt by whoever owned it before. But they were done in metal.
Not sure if I’m removing or keeping.... want to drive it First
But the wide body look works for me
