Affordable muscle cars in SA

Post by WCC » Wed 20 Dec 2017, 21:57

Not sure what this author is smoking but he should package and sell it. R600k for a Mustang yet e-body Cudas are R190k.

What reality makes an e-body Cuda sell for R190k and a Mustang for R600k? Reality is the e-body cars are imports and come at a premium giving their rarity in SA, our exchange rate, duties/taxes and transport. :(

I think Waterhond indicated that the author has in mind that these muscle cars are in general too expensive.

Expensive is relative however--these muscle cars are popular, scarce in our RSA and there are always people around

with the bucks.

The author maybe made these estimations ten or more years ago? Or otherwise he/she really does not have

any clue of the matter at all.

I do get the point, but considering the comparison of pricing between an E body Cuda for R195k and a Mustang for R600k in the same article neither argument makes sense. Or am I missing something?

No ,you do not miss anything :D , the author just do not know what the prices in reality are.I think his

preferences in respect of certain cars made him to be blurred.
