I converted in my head to R120k but its a bit more. The car does seem very original.

Its a R168 000.00....( 1 OZ $ = R7.00)
RACECAR spelt backwards spells RACECAR.....

Actually... today its 6.5558 : 1, which makes it R157,340.26 ;)

Last time I was in OZ the rate was R2.20 = $1.00 Aus. Would have been a good price then! R52,000. Sounds more real!
