A prospective buyer might like to know, whom actually build/restored the car, and is photos of this process available?

I see that the tag says manufactured by Shelby if so was the car transformed by Shelby into this Eleanor clone after 1995 and then imported into SA ........... or is this a local car ?

Hey guys, that is an awesome car to say the least, It is not a genuine Shelby though, very nice specification made to be like the movie car from Gone in 60seconds. It is stunning.
But according to the actual VIN number it is based on a standard 1967 289 ci V8 2V, 2+2 fastback.
1984 Rover Vanden Plas V8 (Historic Race car)
1986 Rover 3500 Vitesse (UK Import Ex London Police Car)
1983 Rover Vanden Plas undergoing conversion to race car.

2006 Ford Fiesta 1.6 Auto, daily driver

Did Carroll Shelby ever officially endorse a Eleanor Mustang?

Yes originally started life out as a :

1967
Plant: T Metuchen, NJ
Body Series: 02 2+2 Fastback
Engine: C 289 2v V8
Unit: 116431 116431

Interesting to see it keeps its original VIN but on a Shelby tag.

It does look well built.

I know whose car this is and I can tell you that NO expense was spared. It's a fantastic car but I doubt it will appreciate in value beyond this number. Buy it if you are bored of your gallardo or fezza

Agreed, I dont know if a Eleanor is a appreciating asset. I do know a numbers Shelby is indeed a appreciating asset and which one I would take !

Having said that I would rather take a factory original GT Mustang restored to mint at quite a bit less of this price and in 10 years it would have appreciated quite a bit more than a Eleanor. Thats the thing with Restomods they are nice but they get dated quite quickly and when they do the value goes down.

Had they just spent all that money without all the plastic and the Carroll Shelby printed on every fckn inch of the car and the fake tags then it would be one the best mustangs around ... 2 million I'll take the 65 mustang for 850 from last week without blinking ...
