The Malibu got me thinking   What if I spray the Opel the same Two tone! :?:
Look at the similarty :D
I have enough red paint from the Malibu to do the job like this::

I think its gonna look great oom Johan. The opel's interior is red as well. Going to be the perfect match.

I like two tone, the red would make the car stand out from the rest.

As long as the two 'reds' (body and interior) match as in both having the same hue; Johann65's Rekord would look good in that two tone. :)

Thanks to all of you :D The red I have is the Rally Red as for the 1964/5 Chevelles and Malibu's.
The interior red is the same material as was originally in the Malibu. The dash will also become Red!! :D
I will complete the mechanics first and when the summer and dry season begins, will start the spray job!
I am busy fitting the exhaust and then the Alternator (Work easy) will show you later :D

Hi Johann,

Although I think your Record would look great in the red I personally feel it is too good to respray. Look what you said in your first post in this thread.
The restoration work you are doing is enough, she's a beauty.
There is something very nice about an old car still wearing it's origional paint. :D

Cheers
