1970 Mach 1 mid resto - might sell....

Post by Muzzymad » Mon 26 May 2014, 21:56

Hi Guys
I might sell my 1970 Ford Mustang Mach 1. 351W with 4 speed top loader - serious cash buyers I am willing to talk to, time wasters and discount searchers I am not going to entertain....
I stripped the car almost 12 years ago, finally got stuck into it about 2 years ago, body completely redone and resprayed.
I have purchased nut and bolts resto kit from the USA, engine parts, bonnet hinges amongst other items from either Stateside or Motown.
Motor, a gasket set was put into the motor, and she was started up about 5 years ago, needs radiator parts purchased needs to be fitted.
Everything is basically there bar a few chrome bits I would think, honey comb partsthat fits on the door bottoms, and on the back, everything there
Car needs to be rewired, needs new weather strip kit, suspension rubbers replaced, and then assembled.
Interior, seats were about 80% good when i packed them up about 12 years ago, needs carpets and roof lining.
The car was all original when I stripped it down to original carpets and roof lining.
It has lived in a garage since I purchased it, and only been out in the sun for the Mustangs 50th at the Castle.
I want R275000-00 for the car as is, it is on my name, license up to date, just needs a RWC in order to draw the license disc.

This is a nice car to finish off for someone not keen on bodywork.
Good luck with your sale.
