Thats a nice find, I love the shape
I've got a manual somewhere.
For parts you should speak to the guys at Chevy World in Benoni.
Cheers

If you know of parts, any parts i would most certainly have a look at them......even if I already have the just to put them into storage......

But a good start would be a manual gearbox because it is running a auto gearbox......

FmontXY, there is a rusted example of a Ranger Coupe lying on a farm outside Moorreesburg in the Western Cape. I will drive there over the weekend and report back on what's left. I'll post pix
It might be a good idea if you phone me on z83 6vier7 3588. What i'll do is to phone you when i'm standing next to the car and give you some running commentry

Hullo All,
I worked on Operation Mayflower (New Ranger) in 1965/66 at GMSA Port Elizabeth  The Opel Fastback did not appear as a production model in large numbers. The Ranger SS only came out in the last few years of production. I had a 73 SS(Metalic brown with a black vynil top and black interior trim. Must look through old photos!

The Ranger was simply an Opel that received a nose job (Vauxhall 2000 grill) and revamped interior trim. 8O What was special was the engine with a Weber 36DCD carburator and unbelievable torque. It was however prone to pre-ignition.

Mechanical parts are freely available. This engine is/was used extensively by our military. Anything from the 2.3 Chevair, 2.5, 3.8 and 4.1 engines have a large interchangeability profile!

Good luck with the job!
