FORD FAIRMONT ( Falcon ) Series III , 2002 , genuine 40000km

Post by Interceptor » Mon 29 Apr 2013, 18:15

Forty thousand kilometers. Absolutely IMMACULATE! Almost like new. Full service history with Ford dealership. Once in a lifetime find. An unbelievable car. Flag ship model of the Falcon range. Perfect for the family man, enthusiast, or as the ultimate towing vehicle. Huge boot and interior space. Soft comfortable ride. Mountains of torque and power, yet surprisingly economical on the open road as it just idles along at 120km/h. Everything and more one could want from a modern car:

- Ice cold aircon and climate control
- Airbags
- trip computer
- Cruise control
- ABS disk brakes front and rear
- Power steering
- Traction control
- Multi function steering wheel
- Full soft leather interior. Unmarked. Rear seats never sat on
- Electric front seat, mirrors, and windows
- 6 in dash CD shuttle as well as casette player. Amazing factory sound system
- Full size spare wheel and tool kit that was never even used once
- ZF auto gearbox with economy mode
- Very strong 4 litre straight six
- All booklets and spare keys
- Remote central locking, immobilizer, alarm and Tracker system fitted

Without a doubt the cleanest and lowest mileage Fairmont in the country

Yup, would have been nice to keep my 'precious', but I finally realized how silly it is to keep cars for display purposes.
Keeping this in mind and knowing myself all too well, I'd probably buy the first old Ford that I see afterwards. Oh, the agony of being an enthusiast!

Fairmond has been sold. Must say, I'm a little sad, but it was necessary. Thanks for the interest. Now only have to sell the XR6 falcon. Going to drop the price by R5000.
