Newbie! Opel Rekord 380GSI

Post by Roadrat » Sun 19 Jul 2009, 14:47

Hello everyone,
Very glad to have found this forum!
:D :D :D :D

I am staying in Port Elzabeth, working in the hospitality industry!

I drive a 1992 Opel Rekord 380 GSi that i use in all types of motor races in PE and East London.

I bought her when i was 16 years old and has being my baby ever since!
I race her in the LUK Coastal Challenge, NDS Drift Series, SCC Track Days (PE).

She still has her 3.8 V6 motor with a few modifications:
- Bored to 4.0 Liter
- Over sized pistions
- Lightened Flywheel
- Cut Cams by Van de Linde
- Gasflowed Head
- Powerflow Branches with side exhausts (YAY!!!!)

Soon i will be putting in a 350 cubic inch V8, once it has being built!
WANT TO FEEL THE POWER OF A V8 motor!!

Welcome to the Forum - nice to see some more Chev/Opel fans. You'll find that we are very much outnumbered by the Vrot okies, but lots of them are coming around to GM way of thinking. Clean, light and revvy!!!
