Hi guys.
I washed my '74 Chevy 4100 today and thought I should post some photos on the forum to show all my fellow African Muscle mates.
With the exception of the 16" BBS rims and two front seats, she is standard 4100 with the original 4.1 engine and auto gearbox. She has been resprayed to cream in color and is going like a Boeing without any major setbacks.
I have owned her for the last three months and since taking ownership she had seen for provinces. Eastern Cape, Free State, Gauteng and North West provinces. Over 3000km of hassle free driving. Herewith some photos I took today after having washed and cleaned her up before attending a friend's 40th birthday party with my family in our 44 year old Chev.
Cheers gentlemen and ladies.

Very nice Krits. Have you had to buy / replace any parts yet? Are they difficult to source?

Mechanical parts are not very difficult to obtain.

Howzit guys.
Thanks for your nice comments.
I have only this far visited one scrap yard and haven't really hunted around for parts.
I guess the most difficult things to find will be good trimmings.
What impresses me the most about the car is the seamless gear changes. Its like a 70s version of the modern cvt gearbox.
I'm still an amateur to old car restorations so please share your advise and tips.
Thanks boys.
