My next year project.

My old 1979 F100 slept for 12 years outside and the rust have slowly getting to him. I got my hands on a nice F100 and will open a garage to restore him with a few nice replacement parts. The 351W with T5 gearbox is still as good as new but may need a new coat of paint.
One luck they will never take it as it is not easy to drive. Big is better. Just need to find a Chev Record P/S box.
The stripped F100 six and 3-speed manual box with full ray shift is for sale. Cell: 0822022818. Amanzimtoti.

Would it not be slightly easier to fix the existing body than do a full mechanical transplant?

It would be easy but I made a promise to my late Dad I would never sell my F100. So it will stay until I am no more.
I have just fit no. 158 carburettor on the F100 to test in the last 2 years. A nice 750 cfm.

Check with Kavesh Maharaj from Pine Town. He might still have one! It did not fit on his el Camino.
