69 Camaro SS

Post by SS-Camaro » Sat 26 Dec 2015, 08:58

Bought this from Lucas in Pretoria 2 weeks ago - Pro street with a 454 (and faaaaaaken powerful). Believe it had 2 owners since the import 3.5 years ago - Lovit!!

Started backfiring two days after it arrived to Cape town and I think the timing needs to be set or what can it be? Simon can only help in February, anyone else that can be recommended?

Hi, Has it still got fuel from reef in, possible 95. I would try and fill with 98 and add some fuel additive just as a check.
This is an easy check. Do you know what compression it is running?

I filled it twice (half tanks) so I think most of the PTA fuel should be out of the system now. The compression and technical stuff of the vehicle I have no information or idea on.
