So wiring is fun to do, routing everything first to get lengths right before taping it all up.
Front/ rear lights, reverse, number plate, interior courtesy lights, ignition, indicators all hooked up and soldered.

Made a little plate to replace the bulkhead connectors exiting through the firewall.

And a pick of my new door locks before I installed them, so cool to have brand new keys for doors that actually lock!

Installed new fuel sender unit and got my Oil filter relocation kit.
I will post some better quality photos soon.

Once engine is in I can finish wiring! Getting close now. Waiting for Speedo, tacho, headers and starter from Summit.

Block and crank back from the machine shop all shiny! Gave the block some lipstick and started assembly.
Had a quick look at piston TDC height and I'm happy to report that compression will be healthier than stock which is the main issue with 318LA's. This is a 318-3 "Premium" motor, so I got a forged crank :P , double roller timing chain and gears (which will be replaced), and thicker cylinder walls to work with and not the case on normal 318's.
All brake lines hooked up and ready to bleed, new fuel line installed from the new tank to the engine bay.

Thanks Paulus.
I did some serious wrench slinging yesterday, building my first Engine and loving it. This thing looks awesome.
Hope my torque wrench is accurate lol.
