My latest 69 Barracuda

Post by 383CUDA » Thu 12 Sep 2013, 15:51

Here's what I have been up for the past year or so. Quick before and after shot....will use this as a progress thread!
69 Barracuda with a 318 LA small block and 904 auto. I'm doing everything myself, all the rust removing, welding, prep, sanding, primer, top coat, interior, electrics.... cursing, trail and error etc.
Building up huge experience. Character building as they say.
Watch this space!

Cheers
Etienne

Very nice Etienne, doing everything yourself makes the build so much more rewarding in the end,but it aint easy! :(

Thanks guys, yes 496, this is the colour I applied a month ago. Grey body with satin black hood, satin black decals along the sides, all black interior with subtle red touches here and there. I love the pro touring/ stealth vibe at the moment.
Ps. The car is still empty which explains the pro stock stance at the rear. (Nothing wrong with pro stock either). Just sayin. :D

Looks very good, especially like the wheels and the colour choice.

Your Barracuda: was it a factory V8 car and; if yes, did you import it from the UK? Why I wonder is your RSA 'cudas were Slant Six only and your car is right hook. The UK vehicles were built here in the USA and exported across the pond. :)

Love it, that's going to a neat car, also love those slot wheels. I got a set of those American racing Indy 500 slots that will fit a ford or Chevy.might sell them if I can find a decent set to replace them.
