This is my 1982 XR6 which I have owned for the past 5 years. Recently had new carpet fitted, power steering fitted about 2 years ago, and she had a blowover done at the beginning of this year. Pics show her with a set of 19" BBS reps, but just last week I have decided to drop to 18". Motor has been rebored, it has a redline camshaft with a 280/300% duration, flowed heads and top off with a set of interceptor carbs. She has a 21R toyota gearbox and std 3.08 diff. She runs well, considering her age.....and I definately have fun each and everytime I take her out.

Here are some pics.....just hope it works.....

Thanks everyone for the kind words.

Robbinator - correct, the 19z are up for sale at R13500. Rims and tyres are still in excellent condition, and have done less than 2000kms. They are dual pcd 5x120 and 5x112. Tyres front 215/35 and rear 245/30.

Aloe, you are late, I actually did have an extra, complete set, which I sold. They are in fact very scarse at the moment, but if i come across another one, I will keep you in mind.

Ok...thanks bud.....is the 3 supposed to be in that figure??.....it's not a typo   ......just kidding.....your price is fair because I recently priced an 18" combo in that design and it was close to what you asking for 19's :)

So did you have adapters or was/were your hubs re-tapped for that PCD??

Thanks again...

Cheers.....Robbie.

Gordini: I don't know, but a lot of Taunus/Cortinas fans love this model of front grille. It was original stuff in some Turkish Taunus. My friend live there in South Africa and he has a wonderful red XR6!!

AintSheSweet: Thank you mate. If you remember it, send me a PM, please.
