Hi All,

So I did manage to find a Holley carb and intake manifold.

I have decided to use my stock cast iron exhaust manifolds for now.

I need to have a look at my diff to see if I can figure out what diff it actually is.

in regards with the engine mountings, i have one of the below, the second one is broken in half. My question is, are these the correct mountings to use on my Capri ? I would have to build some kind of an adapter to make it fit onto the crossmember. can you guys help me out with some pictures and measurements of what I need to build?

So I had a look at my Capri's diff as well as the other one I've got. They both don't have identification tags and I cannot figure out what diffs I actually have. Maybe you guys can help me out here.

So this is my Capri's diff, all I could find on it is the letters MC and .92

and this is the other one I've got, all I could find on this one was Borg Warner (its got lots of gunk on it, will clean it next time I'm there to see if it has any markings):

If you are trying to find out the diff ratios you are lucky because you have removable back plates on both diffs. Remove the back plates, count the teeth on the crown wheel and on the pinion, divide the number of teeth on the crown wheel by the number of teeth on the pinion. this will give you the ratio. eg : - 65/22 = 2.95 :1
Use a spot of tippex to mark the first tooth you start counting from.

the one in the capri seems to be M68

The other one however looks like it may be a M75/M78 BW

For starters, what does your current cross member look like?
Is it the standard v6/2l cross member?
