Re: My Cortina Restoration has begun!
Coming together! That motor looks immaculate.
Re: My Cortina Restoration has begun!
Thanks!
The motor alone as it stands now has cost me close to R12k without the labour as I have done everything myself.
Hoping the filters will clear the bonnet as I don't want to cut it.

Re: My Cortina Restoration has begun!
Include the distributor in that air cleaner mock-up, sometimes the distributor/spark plug wires can have very little clearance with such a big filter.
Re: My Cortina Restoration has begun!
I would show off those two beauties, each with their own small filter...... They will be hidden beneath the large one BIGSIX?!

Re: My Cortina Restoration has begun!
Perhaps consider fabricating some sort of plenum with 90' bends in it so you can mount two filters, DCOE style, one over each tappet cover. That way you'll have plenty of bonnet clearance.
Re: My Cortina Restoration has begun!
Who sold the front spoiler to you???
Nice engine. All you need was the cir-clip con-rods with high compression pistons, Skyline valves and 79 Richi Dude cam!!
Rassie.

Thanks for the feedback!
IJ I will check clearance with the distributor fitted, forgot about that?
Rassie why you asking about the spoiler?

Looking good BigSix.
I would agree with Ters .....go with the individual air filters....

Re: My Cortina Restoration has begun!
I can get these filters for the carbs, will need to lift them a bit for clearance above the ram tubes thou.
Feedback?
