Hi All

Finally got me a nice car, below are picture of the car when it was still standing at the guys yard got the car home on Satuday, its complete with motor and box straight 6 3 speed manual 3.8l :roll: its okay for now, on sunday i cleaned the plugs batled a bit and finaly got her idling, turn the key and she idles :) Only crap is the front windscreen is cracked and few beading damages

Any ways i have lots of work but its gona be fun - will take more pic of the inside and engine

3 spd stick in a RHD 1964? That must have been an RSA thing since the Aussie/NZ Belairs/Impalas were all PowerGlides I believe. Needless to say: sticks were readily available in LHD big Chevys till 1973.

Yip 3 speed streering shift, i need to lean how to change the gears - lol

Very nice project.Save yourself a lot of work and have the body sandblasted at the right place and start from there.

Were on earth do you guys fork out these lovelies.....i thought i was the CHAMPION.........keep it up gents, we need these old cars to be salvaged :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :lol:
