Hi there
Im new to this forum. I have already learnt alot fromyou guys.
Here are some of my cars
70 Ranchero 351 with aussie heads and c4
43 ford Truck (jailbar Grille) 351c With aussie heads and 4 speed toploader
Ferenza coupe,just bought a 350 chevy with th350
I also boughy a Capri With a v6, Not sure what it is. All plates are removed, Looks like a gt. Its got the cut out for the radiator, Its got 2 holes for the exhaust, fiber/aluminium louvre.Any ideas?
Now Ive been offered a set of chevy camel hump heads, Its flowed,bigger valves new double valve springs ect. R 6500 Is this a good price?

Hano,

Depends on you priorities - if you want originality then the camel hump heads are the way to go. If you want max bang for your bucks you may be able to do better buying modern aftermarket heads.

Do your research - there arae lots of Camaro and Chevy forums out there.

R6500 for a pair of head sounds a little bit high for me - depends on the valve gear fitted I suppose. Others here are more in tune with ZA local prives may be able to advise you better.

hi

before you purchase a set GM heads best to go to www.mortec.com they list all the info on the Gm casting numbers
this website will tell you if they are in fact genuine factory performance heads
also bear in mind iron heads are getting old now, and at that price you over half way to a brand new set aluminium edelbrock perf RPM heads complete with stainless big valves and ARP studs + guideplates which i have in stock
