*SOLD* Refurbish Firenza 2500 engine

Have started to clean up this engine! Have this Grotto Blue metallic engine paint! I like the result! will update as I fit all the rest! This engine is complete from starter to Weber carburetor! All original! Lets see how it comes out! Shown in sun and shade!

Colour is stunning
Forgive my ignorance, is that original colour from GM ?

No, I am doing my own thing! It is made by Spraymate! They call it "Blue Grotto" I agree the colour is amazing!!
Spraymate is a local business near Meyerton/Dale Side.

Refurbish is coming along! This is "NOT A Remachine"! Result is starting to look good! Will come complete with gearbox & Shifter and starter. It has a new flywheel and ring gear and clutch and! pressure plate! Here are more pics as I go along!! The weber inlet and exhaust manifold is next on my agenda! Enjoy!

More progress made! Exhaust manifold not painted. Weber manifold just Handi Andied. Plug wires fitted. Need to make bracket for the coil! Carb to be cleaned! Weber DCD7.

The Ignition side has now been completed. Note the "Grob's" Coil bracket for better positioning! :mrgreen: All the parts that are in the Sahara color are suitable for Chroming! :mrgreen: Tomorrow I will complete the Combustion side! ;)

The engine is now complete! Next step is to fit the Flywheel, clutch and pressure plate. :) All three in perfect condition (see Pics)
Thereafter the gearbox and finally the starter! Enjoy the pics. :D :mrgreen: The carburetor foot has four new studs and nuts!! 8O

Very nice Oom Johann. I almost think you remove the engine from the running car. :)
