Big problem with these old Mustangs is the rust in the cowl panel areas. We decided to cut out the original cowl vents so that we could get in and treat the whole area properly. Fortunately not too many "Ysterluise"!
Also was an excuse to get some billet aluminium cowl vents from Ringbrothers! :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

Because we moved the engine we had to fabricate new engine mountings and this interfered with the steering linkage on the right side. Some head scratching and thinking cap wearing and this is the solution that appeared:

I wish it was my day job!
Unfortunately wrong impression about speed of project :( - It's about two years since sourcing her in the US. I've only posted the pictures in one go.
Hopefully picking her up from the paint shop next week and then we start putting her together again.
Probably looking at anything from 6 to 12 months to finish.
