Did it get bumped when working close to the line? If I recall correctly you were very happy with the brakes in the past. Hope it restores the brakes to your satisfaction. Did you fill polyurethane in the ballpoints?

I used a type of Teflon that took all the play out of the Ball-joint! The Brake Line must have gotten a ding from something! Will report back tomorrow!

Checked all the lines and each caliper! Checked the original calipers and I was able to put a new seal in the left caliper and all the dust covers. No leaks found. All four wheels brake properly. The Later model Rekord caliper is for a 14" Rotor and restricted the turning circle and is now on my shelf!!. Now need to finish the bleeding! Still some air in the system! :o

Hullo Rassie! Was net 'n gemors!

What is wrong if I pump the brakes and they take but the brake pedal will not stay up? I am at my wits end! No leaks in the system! The previous Ingenar place a piece of bolt in the master cylinder causing the rear brakes to lock! The master cylinder applies pressure but will not maintain the pressure! Any thoughts? My budget is limited! It happened some year ago, but I can't remember what I did!! 8O :?

Sounds like the seals in the master cylinder are gone?
