We all have the choice to do business as we feel fit. I unfortunately have the feeling that this Opel will

eventually ending up costing more than the selling price of the red beloved Chevelle....... 8O

Hullo Johan,
With regard to cost it is not an issue. What is important to me is the part of history. Total estimated Cost for the Rekord and already nearly ready is R20,000. It keeps me busy :D :D

Hi Johan

As long as you enjoy what you do. :D

I saw an Opel of the same generation in a garage recently......with two inches of dust

on it.It did not move for at least two decades. Apparently this car has done very little

work since it was new back then.

Regards

Hullo Johan,
I have been able to source all parts I need plus the front seat. Also includes new tyres.
Thus plus the roadworthy will not amount to more than R10,000.
Further more it is clean! Polish! Rub! Shine Clean! :D :D
The local Authority has been very helpful is getting it registered in my name! :D
