Hi William, glad to hear things are on the mend for you.

Recently been through the same myself, lost my house in S.A., load of unexpected debts etc but still got my Perana (nearly had to sell it to keep food on the table) but am also on the up now. Next year should be better.

Working on the car is always good therapy!

That's something else she couldn't understand.

Cheers, all the best.

Well guys I am LMAO for all the replies.

Nick,

I stuffed up my setting as well - I set it to tight. However, you guys are welcome to correct me if I am wrong but I spoke to a bloke from Auto Mech in Pretoria who said that I must set the flex band 1 3/4 turn and trhe solid band must be 2 turns and basically according to him it must have about 3 mm play. I am going to try that this weekend ad see how it goes. Fitting a drain plug might be a good idea LOL.

Cheers
William
