That’s a 302W not the 302C. The 302W is identical in size to the 260 and 289. So it’s a drop in extra 42ci.

am trying to find the engine number, have found casting number behind starter motor

Update! At last have located BG number using an endoscope at rear of engine in the Sunbeam Tiger, not easy, its bg 0801 the car also had a key fob from a garage in Pietermaritzburg. Would be great to have some of its South Africa history
