Hell week.

Post by RASSIE » Wed 14 Mar 2018, 19:43

I had no choice to be faster than light. I want to be ready for what Nonsense MAY come. Security is now priority. Dogs, alarms and silent alarms for a start include 50 watt led spotlights and GUNS. 8 CCTV cameras and another 8 ready to be installed. Super increase in Solar power and water tanks for emergency supply!. Family to go on shooting range as we work now on a be ready factor. Sunday down the road a family was hold at gunpoint and one was shot by cops. We take no chances! Reason for this!! BE READY!!
Not sure of the outcome but violence is serious as bridges are priority as they burn a tire at night in the middle lane and drop a rock on the cars. Our traffic group have shown dash camera footage.
Be safe members!!!

After a shooting where local guards had shot person who was breaking into a building the local people are busy going on a rampage burning farms , buildings, vehicles and sugarcane lands. The local police is currently unable to stop these people and re-inforcements from Ulundi Pop has been despatched. This is a developing story.

Westville has also been under siege, there was another house breaking with a loss of life last night, I live in a security area with booms and patrols. But you must never let your guard down. I have a guard outside my place, beams, magnetic locks, CCTV and 3 Pitbulls. But the sign on my gate warns of the owner, that cowboy is Loco!

I’m busy with my dedicated Sports shooter status so I can expand my arsenal. Got a garage full of toys now to expand the safe contents. I have 2 firearms but going to buy a Glock 17 MOS & a Pump action!

And then a AR15....

Regarding they magnetic lock on your gate I presume those are the double opening gates.

I wonder if they can be adapted to work on a sliding gate. I feel the sliding gate has security issues. If there an adaption where the sliding gate closed with the magnetic lock horizontal instead of vertical.

Yes they can, when you push the button the magnet releases
Right before the motor opens.
Can also work on internal swing security gates.

The ROBO guard beams work super and with 16 cameras now installed by my son it open the complete screen where the movement is. Even with a small dog, cat or monkey! I see CCPO and Blue security got 3 night patrol guards on foot now patrolling at night in my street and a permanent day guard in my street. I feed them and supply drinks so they stay super sharp looking over my property as I got the only open gate in the day with the F100 at the gate as a warning!! I took 2 sharp Sausage dogs from people who sold their house and these follow me all over. Super alarms.
Be wake up members as we are slowly loosing the country after seeing the freeways burning with 23 + trucks and drivers shot in cold blood.
Move I will NEVER!!!
Build the V8's and braai as it is not over yet!!

Hi Len

How durable are the mag locks? I have seen them stop working after a while. I want to install them for my swing gates at home but don't want to if they won't last.

How long have you had them for?

I had about seven and a half years experience in the security industry mainly industrial. It was long time ago,so I am not updated with technology advancements. At the time I found that magnetic locks could be opened using some force. Also they were operating with electrical current. You had to have a back up power supply and the wiring to the lock had to protected.
On the gates issue. The sliding gates can be lifted off the rails. This can be prevented by clamping it down at the bottom with a sturdy lock.
The swing gates can be rendered useless by loosening the arms to the motors. This can also be fixed up by locking up for the night.
I see that technology is available where you can watch on your cellphone what is happening at your place with an app.At least you will not be caught by surprise when arriving at home..
Most people's pallisade fencing is a joke. Also too much shrubs and trees in the yards.I recommend thorny shrubs underneath windows.Serious long thorns.
