Hello Muscle Car Fans,
I came across two nice old Opel Ranger coupes which are in different stages of restoration. I am hoping to keep the SS and make a nice driver out of it for the family. As an immigrant to ZA, I would appreciate any suggestions on people who can assist with some period correct type performance mods on the old 2.5 SS engine. I know there were some tricks with heads, etc. but will need a machine shop/engine builder to assist with those items.
With the car is another Ranger 2-door coupe, which I am still determining what model and engine originally. Currently the engine is out of it, although there are two engines that come in the package deal. Any idea of values on a project coupe with a very nice body and interior that will need the engine fitted? Would like to sell it and the spares to fund the build of the SS...

Welcome to the forum. Yes, I would agree Johan is the best person to ask, his knowledge of GM products of that era is a real asset to the forum.
Would love to see some pics of these cars.
