I climb into the car, having bought it site unseen and turn the key and not sure I was prepared for what happened next, the V8 erupted and settled into a very loud idle. This thing has quite a wild cam and the whole car shakes at idle.
There is huge torque, nearly 800 nm at 1900rpm and performance as you would expect is quite effortless...just cruising around town the car is loud and it must sound quite good at idle because even traffic police were giving thumbs up. In fact the amount of attention this car gets is quite crazy.
I think I am going to smile every time I turn the key...the world be heading the way of being politically correct but this Australian is a big middle finger to such correctness.
