Door panels

A friend of mine is busy building a Jeep Gladiator and asked me to make him some door panels.

This is what the original looked like.
The door in the background is the original from the Jeep.

This is what I made for him.

The car will be red, so the decision was to do the interior in black.

They look good, but remove that cheap looking "J2000" chrome thing please.

No, hand formed out of:
3mm supawood (backing)
cardboard (styling detail)
vinyl (upholstery)
fibreglass, neoprene and vinyl (arm rests)

I had to sort out this opening in the Jeep's dash.

( :oops: The mounting tabs were not done by me)

Seeing as I need to built an air conditioning system for the car, I made this panel to mount the aircon outlets and the radio.

Image

It will bolt on to the dash from the rear, once the dash has been painted.
