More sad news

Post by Gavin RS » Fri 01 Jul 2016, 09:48

It is with sadness that MSA has been advised that Petrus Jacobus Johannes Fourie, also known as Vaal Piet, passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning at the age of 79.

Piet was well known in the 70’s & 80’s for Drag and Hotrod racing and also for his business Vaal Piet Wide Rims.

The family would like to thank everyone in the racing community that knew and supported Piet in his racing endeavours over the years.

Piet was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great grandfather.

The funeral has been scheduled for the 4th of July at 12:00 at the Nederduitse Hervormde Kerk in Langenhoven Street in Vanderbijlpark.
