Just seen this thread.

I do not come into the general section much.

Now it all makes sense.

I had emailed him recently, as we communicated by email as well, and he did not reply.

RIP Basie, and may the family be able to make sense of it all.

A good man who will be missed.

SJOE.....this is quite a shock....i havent been on the forum for about 2 years, recieved a PM and had some idle time this morning - didnt know about Basie until now.

I am fine but just lost another good Fairlane Uncle in Toti who did visit me almost every week. He also passed away. This was a FXXX, 2014 year!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot believe how many good friends got on the same "BUS" ?

This year has been flat evil in many ways.............but; IMHO things are starting to improve and, 2015 will be much better than 2014.
