Very nice pictures those, is it from a Wesbank special edition book?
I'd be interested to know, why did JT Developments use a Mitsubishi Colt to run the V6 Essex engine in?

a Viana BMW still races at Zwartkops from time to time, but based on a 5 series. The one in the pick looks like a E30 3 series.

Pretty sure Richie Jute still has the Escort down in George - he has most of his old race cars.

I believe that Tony Viana passed away some time ago I know one of his cars was sold to someone in Cape Town not sure which one. Willie Hepburn is still going strong, he has some of his cars still.

The David Cohen (and his brother Ray's) car collection all went with them to Canada when they moved there many years ago.

Quite right, Uncle Willie still runs his Opel Rekord V8 beast at some race meets. Watched him pilot it around Dezzi's last year..what a treat!
