Most probably this "armgat onderwyser" won't be able to afford it. :(

As an owner of the last Mondeo sold in SA, I know that sales were extremely low on this vehicle. Around 30 units per month or less on a very under rated car which topped UK sales in its segment. So they want to distinguish it from a poor performing name plate, and America already had a similar sized Fusion previously hence the name. If I could afford one I would re badge it to mondeo lol.

I wouldn't place too much store in pricing on Mustangs that say starting at: like Porsche and BMW the claimed starting price is way short of what you pay even for the most basic cars. For a Mustang in the US the average on a dealer floor is at least 8- 10 k more than the starting at price. So add 5-7 k pounds on the UK price. I bet the average v8 will sell for about 40k pounds - at 20 to 1 that's 800k before you start and there's no real import duty - not like our 40%. So you'll be lucky to see a v8 for less than 1 million I recon. And who in their right mind would buy a 4 cylinder Mustang anyway!

Saw my first new Mustang at the shops up the road from my house, Yellow 5.0lt , to see it in the flesh it is just awesome to say the least. Had a very good look at the car, Must have been a guy from the nearby Ford Dealer as it had a MUSTANG plate on the reg mounting.
