All of a sudden in the last 2 months we have been subject to a major crime wave of house breaking in Randpark Ridge and Weltevreden Park areas. In the last 2 weeks we have had 6 house break ins in our street alone. Myself and as few neighbors I n the street have started patrolling at night and early mornings to target these Bas&%^$s and hurt them if need be. the security companies do patrol and we have had some recent arrests of people in stolen cars in the area that had guns and tools to use for breakins. last week a death in Weltevreden of a home owner and the week before in Boskruin another murder of a house owner, these scum are not scared of anything and just come back again. streets and poles are getting marked and we have seen spotters in our roads. SO...the war has begun and we are going to sort it out ourselves with being active and visible more so than the police or security companies .It is our privacy and properties that are under attack and for what... getting away with a TV or 2.....

Saw a large brilliant sign in a nearby area that residents had put up
"TO ALL CRIMINALS PLEASE CARRY ID OR ANY FORM OF ID SO YOUR NEXT OF KIN CAN BE NOTIFIED"
