Hey guys, Robbie & his team(Team Orange) took 2nd place at yesterdays Saldanha's top speed event! He trapped at 260 kmph on his shakedown run. He raced his orange V8 MK4 30s. The event was won by the Twin Turbo Lumina with a close speed of 262kmph.
Congrats Robbie! I hope you competing next year! We just might have the title back in Cape Town!

Come to think of it the lumina should of got way more than 260 ... Although they tell me he only put his foot flat towards the end of third gear

Thanks for all the kind words guys.....we all had some major fun and the run felt awesome.
Theron.....we for sure are going to work towards improving on the 260kph bud.......maybe just a driver change is what's needed
......you know I prefer to just chill on the side than been in the seat
