Pass....needs complete respray, interior needs redo, gearbox is dodgy..... I then drove from Potch to Brakpan (should have known :? ) to look at an 80. Owner did some paint correction himself.....on a Lint green one. Will have to be resprayed, but also has a major fuel leak, and to many electrical issues to mention.

What I have learned today: 928's in 60/65 price range are not good buys. Seems the ones from 80/90 upwards will be close to mint. Never assume the car is in "good" condition because it looks neat on a picture. Never buy with your heart, listen to friend/son/your realistic mind.

I will follow advice given (thanks Indie!), and look at 300 ZX, 280 ZX (Hammer misery.... ), 200SX or Celica's and Supra's. And of course any nice 928's. Maybe even a 944.......

Ters.

ps.I have driven close to 500km's today with my BMW, love this car more and more! 11.4 km/l ave.

Miskien verstaan ek verkeerd Basie, voer jy iets in die mou? :P

944's, Z's, Sx's, Supra's and Celica's are the same (cheap is shit), except all has larger Turbo's, Intercoolers and Fong Kong styling. Hard to find an original sample.

Hi Ters

Maybe you should post up the specs and preferences of the car that you want under the Wanted section, and let the forum members help you find it?

Obviously the a 928 is first in line, but are you only looking a rear-wheel drive?
Coupe?
V8 or turbocharged?
60-80k budget?

Or whatever...

There are so much good cars out there, it can be difficult for us car nuts to pen down exactly what you want or need.
