Wrong forum I suspect. When they came out I loved the shape. From what I remember they were very heavy on petrol.
But can get them cheap & they are different.... good luck

I don't have a lot of experience with them, but think they are very much a love it or hate it kinda car. Personally, I preferred the TX5, and always found myself wishing they (the whole range, 626/Telstar/MX6/TX5) were RWD, but ultimately ended up browsing passed them.
Also think the MX6 are a bit heavy on fuel, and impractical for a run around, but at the price they sell for, you aren't gonna find many coupes, if that is what you want. Mechanically they would share many parts with the 626, and Telstar, which I think are reliable cars, and don't figure you will have trouble sourcing spares. The KL V6, is actually an over engineered engine, with forged internals.
Good luck with the search for a good one.
If I recall correctly, there is a member here, whom worked at Ford during that period, think it was lumi-fan, perhaps he'd remember what their weak points were...

One thing....cost to change the cambelt. A late friend of mine ran his own workshop and hated working on this and the Telstar for the pure reason that changing the belt you basically have to take the entire front of the car off.
In terms of value, why not, a V6 is a rare engine today and with an exhaust they can sound really good.
