No price given

Think this car has been discussed before, but can't find the post, has the Datsun 510 coupe taillights.

Yes, been discussed before. Been reshelled into a 1600 body by it's previous owner back in the 90's due to a crash.

I thought 3.0L shells were used for the original conversions, because they had extra strengthening over the 1600 or 2L shells?

They did use 3l shells but if done properly that shell could be made even stronger ...

Its a tough question to answer, I think the issue is this car while nice, those taillights really hurt its appeal badly, for me at least.

This car has been reshelled into a 1600 body as Magan(Perana) points out.The fact is,that even the strut and firewall supports of the original car has been transferred to the 1600 body, making it look exactly as 3000 body. The only dead giveaway on this car is the underseat tag, which says Capri 1600 and the original colour, which if I can remember correctly was Gold.
For the untrained eye, you'll definitely think it's a genuine Perana, but in fact,it has been reshelled........

Don't they all.

2 tell tale signs on this car.

The underseat tag saying 1600GT
The exhaust cutouts are not correct
