The Blue one sounds too cheap . if its in fair condition it should be at least R45k plus.

Saw this on OLX...

Ford Escort Mk2 (2L 16V Opel turbo) project

R45000

Not at all standard, and crossdressing, but should be a fun toy and perhaps a fair price for what is already there?

Nice concept but dont like the cross dressing idea. Surely a 2.0 Focus motor could be fitted in the same time/effort.

Ive been looking at this for awhile now. Car was initially advertised for about R75k if I remember correctly. R45k is a steal , I would have jumped at it ... buy the car and sell the motor and box and then do a Pinto or Duratec / Zetec Conversion rather. But the main issue for me is there is no papers...  Oh and all that chequer plate needs to go as well...

A friend of mine wanted to buy a 1980 Ford Escort 1600 Sport,in very original

condition, but not perfect by far and it at least should do with a fresh paintjob. Very little bit of rust,

One owner. He could not be convinced to sell at R60,000 cash.
