The use of LPG Gas in cars? Rassie.

Post by RASSIE » Sun 20 Jan 2019, 18:00

I think I did ask this many years back but have seen many fork lifts using gas.
Globally, more than 13 million vehicles run on LPG.
Any member got a proper diagram as I got the gas and regulator so a proper diagram will assist me as my F100 351W V8 will have to use it soon.
Any help members??
Rassie.

Rassie,
It might be worth it to check on the Aussie sites.
I seem to remember that LPG conversions were quite big over there some years ago.

Rassie can you take a pic of the system you have as there are a few more components than you describe.
Tank with regulator
Evaporator
Mixer and adjuster valve
Fuel shutoff valve
Changeover switch
Pipe work for the hot water system to stop the evaporator from freezing.
Filler
Copper pipes for filler and system.
Fuses and wiring.
Cheers
