Converting a Chevy K10 to C10...possible?

Post by johanlappies123 » Thu 14 Dec 2017, 07:30

Hey everyone,

Has anyone ever done a 4x4 to RWD conversion on a Chevy K10? In other words, making a C10 out of a K10?

I guess specifically, what are the differences between the K10 and C10 front axle? Does the K10 have a solid front axle with diff? Are the frames on the front the same between the 2 models?

Thanks in advance!

Cheers,
Johan

Hi Johan

From my understanding

C10 is a 4x2 1/2 ton truck and the K10 is a 4x4 1/2 ton truck same design

Possibly just the front axle drive train that will differ
