Re: Transmission and Drivetrain.
Hi All
To make things short and sweet, I built a corolla E70 facelift with a 3vzfe v6 connected to a w57 gearbox,Heads have been done mildly and gives 150kw
on the wheels, here is the question. when I shift from 2nd to 3rd under torque, It doesn't want to select, I have to literally take my foot off the throttle
for it to engage. the gearbox is brand new and it was fitted with a racing clutch. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

OK, I've bit the bullet and got a 289 Ford V8. Now my question is which is the best gearbox to mate this engine to?
Target vehicle is an AC Cobra.

Re: Transmission and Drivetrain.
Hi All
I haven't been on this forum for some while now.
I hope someone can assist me. I have installed a new 6L80E transmission in my 2009 Lumina. We transferred the TCM from the old 'box into the new. I believe we transferred the fault too, as the TCM has the solenoids built in, and the old symptoms still exist. I am trying to install the new TCM but can't get a license in SA for the Tech 2 system. Can it be done with HP Tuners? Any advice would be most welcome. Many thanks in advance.
