Hi there,
Moved from SA to Australia 11 years ago. Like fiddling around with "old" cars and decided to import myself some after hours work. I have imported a 1964 Ford Anglia and a 1969 Ford Capri. The Anglia came with a 1600cc crossflow engine and is currently roadworthy and running like a Swiss clock.
The Capri - originally a 2 Liter came with a 351 Cleveland and an automatic gearbox that can not be registered in Victoria due to the fact that the "original Perana" only had a 302 Windsor. The Capri needs an engineering certificate to be registered. It is now classified as a modified vehicle and falls in the same category as a Hotrod which means I had to change and modify quite a lot. I just got the new diff back - Falcon XR8 LSD with disc brakes - that had to be modified to suit the Capri width and four stud pattern. Next is an upgraded steering column to facilitate a collapsible steering element. I did the inverted left hand drive cross member that is a bit strange to some Aussies. They rather hammer the firewall to make the V8 fit. These are the two major changes/upgrades. I had to re wire the whole car and added some relays and fuses. A fair bit of rust that needed to be cut out and new plates welded in but it is fun.
My Aussie Perana will be up and running by June and that will be great.

Hi daar,
I am still after some help with regards to the wiring on the wiper motor.
I have 5 wires coming out the motor:
1. Two green wires connected together in the original push in round plug.
2. Black with green
3 Blue with green
4. Brown with green
If I connect:
Negative to 2 x green connections
And
1. Positive to Brown - Fast speed
2. Positive to Blue - Slow speed
I need the diagram to figure out the switch connections and the "park"
