Got me a big Six

Post by vitesh » Thu 29 Mar 2018, 19:29

Hello Fellow South African muscle car junkies

I been watching this site for months now as I prepared to take the step into this magical world of old cars . I just love one of the members quotes - old fords don't die - just go faster. that is exactly what I plan to do.....

Yep finally got me that childhood dream big six XLE..... (at least I hope) but did check out per one of your posts the serial numbers etc and seems to be the real thing.

By the way - my name is Vits Maharaj - ex durbanite ( now in Johannesburg) who fondly remembers the Saturday night Blue Lagoon doing days.

Yep I know that I should post some pics etc - still to figure that part out

For now any old photos of what these looked like originally will be appreciated and anyone with a spare or contact for XLE manual will certainly help

Regards
Vits

Thanks for welcome

Photos are deceptive - body appears to have been hail damaged and was repaired very poorly....

I want to also return the vinyl top and hoping to get back rostyles or cyclones
